Due to the large number of membrane elements and long water supply process, the actual system recovery rate is generally more than 75%, and sometimes even 90%. A high system recovery rate is also required for small reverse osmosis devices to avoid waste of water resources.
The recovery rate of reverse osmosis should be determined mainly based on two points:
- according to the length of the membrane element in series.
- according to whether there is a concentrated water cycle and the size of the circulation flow.
