Product Overview

Product overview

The 1000LPH Stainless Steel UF water treatment machine is an ultrafiltration system rated for 1,000 litres per hour. Hollow-fibre UF membranes block suspended solids, colloids, bacteria and macromolecules while passing dissolved minerals, so the taste and beneficial content of the source water are preserved. Backwash and flush cycles keep the flux stable and are driven automatically from the control panel. Typical duties include mineral and spring water production, campus and community drinking water, and pre-treatment ahead of RO or EDI stages.

How it works

From raw water to finished water

Feed pump

A stainless centrifugal pump delivers raw water to the UF skid at a stable inlet pressure.

Pre-filter

A 100 micron screen, or a multimedia filter on turbid sources, protects the membrane from grit and debris.

Ultrafiltration

Hollow-fibre PVDF or PES membranes at 0.01-0.1 micron reject colloids, bacteria, algae and most viruses.

Backwash

Automatic backwash and air scouring run on a set differential-pressure or time cycle to restore flux.

Disinfection

UV or ozone dosing keeps the treated water biologically stable in the storage tank.

Supply

Treated water at 0.1 NTU or lower is pumped to the process or bottling line.

Applications

Where this system is used

Selected for uf ultrafiltration water purification equipment duty across these sectors.
Municipal drinking water
Bottled and mineral water
Food and dairy processing
Wastewater reuse
Surface water treatment
Pre-treatment for RO
FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Hollow-fibre UF rejects particles down to 0.01-0.1 micron, including bacteria, algae, cysts and most viruses, while a cartridge filter only holds particles larger than its rating.

No. UF is a barrier for suspended and colloidal matter. If you need TDS reduction, pair the UF with reverse osmosis.

Every 30-60 minutes on most surface waters, triggered by differential pressure. Chemically enhanced backwash is added every few days on high-fouling sources.

Three to five years with correct backwash and periodic chemical cleaning. Modules are individually replaceable, so one damaged fibre bundle does not need a new skid.

Yes, with a multimedia pre-filter ahead of the membrane. We size the filter and the backwash cycle from your turbidity data.
