Reverse osmosis high pressure pump after the manual adjustment door and electric slow door reasons
The water source of the standard test solution is reverse osmosis water, so there is almost no impurity and no problem of membrane element being polluted. In actual use, except for the water in the secondary reverse osmosis system is the water produced by the primary reverse osmosis system as the raw water, the water in other reverse osmosis systems is almost all raw water after ordinary pretreatment.
Although the pretreatment process removes some of these impurities, the inlet quality is still poor compared to the water source used under standard test conditions. So the membrane element design water production should be less than the standard water production, if still according to the standard water production as the design water production, reverse osmosis membrane element will soon be polluted, resulting in membrane element damage.
In order to avoid the above situation, membrane component manufacturers provide design guidelines for designers to follow. The design guidelines suggest that different design water yields should be select-ed according to different water sources.
Even in actual use in accordance with the design guidelines provided by the membrane component manufacturer, but reverse osmosis membrane components will still be slowly contaminated, of course, after a period of time can be partially recovered by chemical cleaning, but it is difficult to fully recover its performance, so experienced designers should take this problem into account in the design, At this time, the feed pump that can ensure the designed water yield after 3 years should be select-ed
, that is, the feed pump with higher pressure needs to be designed. However, the design water yield can be achieved without high pressure when the system is initially put into operation. Therefore, the pressure of the feed pump is rich in the initial operation of the system, which gradually decreases with the passage of time. Therefore, the high pressure pump should be set behind the manual adjusting door to adjust the feed water pressure. Sometimes you can set frequency conversion adjustment device for the feed pump. At this time, you can use frequency conversion method to adjust the feed water pressure.
The manual adjusting door behind the high pressure pump generally does not need to be adjusted often after setting, in a period of time is basically kept in a constant position, and there is no need to open or close this valve when the system starts each time.
But if there is no other valve behind the high pressure pump, at this time when the system starts, the high pressure water of the high pressure pump will directly impact the membrane element, especially when there is air in the system, it will produce the phenomenon of "water hammer", which is easy to cause the rupture of the membrane element.
In order to prevent the above phenomenon, the electric slow door should be set behind the high pressure pump. After starting the high pressure pump, the electric slow door should be opened slowly, that is, the pressure should be slowly loaded onto the reverse osmosis membrane of the system. The electric slow door should be a fully open and fully closed valve, and its fully open and fully closed time can be adjusted, but it is generally set to 45 ~ 60s. So from the perspective of the safety of reverse osmosis membrane elements should be set up electric slow door.
